CONCORD TOWN BOARD MEETING MARCH 12, 2007 PAT BRANDT (262)593-8910
An open voters forum will be held March 21st at the Concord Center
Community Center for incumbents and new comers, as placed on the spring
election ballot for the town of Concord. The forum will begin at 7:00 PM.
Four new comers are vying for the Supervisor's position: Dennis B.Stair,
Jeremy Feutz, David Janquart and Marian Speerless, are new comers. Robert
Perkins, present Supervisor, will no be seeking re-election. Chairman, Don Groose
will be facing Supervisor, Bill Ingersoll in the election, vying for the
Chairman's position.
Richard Reinders, Chairman of the Park & Plan Committee presented copies
of the Subdivision Ordinance. The ordinance has been modified to guide and
protect the township for future requests.
Howard Webb, Highway Foreman stated that some of the town roads will be closely
monitored for overflow and back up of thawing ice and water in the culverts.
Mark Redmond, W326 HWY. 18 had his request for a conditional use permit to run
an auto repair business out of his garage approved.
River Drive will remain the designated name for East River Drive and West River
Drive. Some County maps have -the town road listed as River Road.
An iron filter will be rented for the Community Center; Picnic Planning meeting
will be held at the Community Center March 26th at 7:00 PM.; Robert Phlanzer,
representative of the Oconomowoc Gun Club was granted a picnic license;
Marian Speerless addressed the board about having an emergency plan put into
effect for the town, possibly using the Community Center as a main shelter;
Joe Thamke addressed the board of contacting a guest speaker for the annual
town picnic for the veteran's memorial program.
