Concord Town Board Meeting - Report (May 12, 2008)

TOWN OF CONCORD BOARD MEETING MAY 12, 2008 PAT BRANDT (262)593-8910

The Town of Concord's road, park & cemetery crews were commended for their
clean up jobs and road patching at Monday night's meeting.
Jerald & Judy Peter's request for a landsplit at W1743 Northside Drive was approved, along
with a license renewal for a used car lot owned by Jack Bender located on Concord Center Drive
Ann Grunewald's application for an operator's license for the Concord Inn was approved.

Tabled was a Home School group wishing to rent two rooms and the gym of the Concord Community Center for small activities, crafts and other activities. More information is needed.

The Historical Society is seeking use of the Community Center for an "All Schools" reunion
on Sunday, July 20th.

Speeding on Hwy B (Valley Road) was an issue presented to a visiting Deputy from Jefferson County
Richard Reinders presented the board with information for the possible purchase of used trucks for the town's snow plowing and other uses.

Assessor, John Pounder, addressed the board with June 19th 4-6:30 PM scheduled for Open Book

The Board of Review was set-for-July 9th 6-8 PM. Both will be held at the Concord Community Center
