CONCORD TOWN BOARD MEETING, JULY 9, 2007 PAT BRANDT (262)593-8910
The second reading of the Plan Commission Ordinance was approved at the
monthly meeting of the Town of Concord. The board also approved the amended
language revisions under well protection and well guarantees of Section 17.02
in Chapter 17, "Zoning, Non-Metallic Mineral Extraction Regulation and Control."
The Plan Commission's report contained discussion of Impact Fees along with the
"Needs Assessment Study" for the town. Further information will be sought and
reported at the July 24th meeting at 7:00 PM at the Community Center.
The board is seeking a part time janitor for the Community Center. Anyone interested
should contact one of the board members, for further information.
Janitor wages for the old town hall, along with highway employee salary/wages
was tabled to the August meeting.
Pat & Marlean Weber, representatives of the Concord Senior Center, donated two
floor fans to the board for use at the Community Center.
Jim Stern's revised driveway for the land split was approved.
Highway Foreman, Howard Webb, reported on road mowing, patching, park and cemetery
mowing.
Joe Thamke's request for funding for guest speakers for the annual town picnic
was granted; County bridge aid, along with future replacement of two culverts
was discussed. Ernest Banker! stated problems with back-up of water on his
farm land from the Oconomowoc River. A handicap restroom has been installed in
the Community Center.
