The annual Town of Concord annual meeting was held at the Town of Concord
Community Center Tuesday evening.
$5,063 was petitioned to Jefferson County for road aids. ISB Community
Bank was named as the town's depository. Permits were issued to 12 new
single family homes.
Discussion centered on selling the Oshkosh truck and purchasing a new
or used truck for snow plowing. Town residents voted to maintain the
Oshkosh truck for heavy snow plowing, along with retaining the other
two big trucks.
Researched information for construction of a utility shed to house the
town equipment was presented. An erection sight has yet to be established.
Incoming Chairman, Bill Ingersoll, introduced newly elected town supervisors,
Dennis B. Stair and David Janquart. Out going chairman, Don Groose and former
supervisor, Robert Perkins were commended for their years of service to the town.
