The regular monthly meeting of the Concord Town Board was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Ted Mueller. Chairman Mueller lead the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll call was conducted with Chairman Mueller, Supervisor Kim Herro, Supervisor Kim Miller, Treasurer Jim Zastrow, and Clerk Brian Neumann present.
Clerk Neumann certified that the meeting had been properly posted in compliance with the Wisconsin Open Meeting Law.
The agenda for the meeting was reviewed. A motion to approve the agenda was made by Supervisor Herro and seconded by Supervisor Miller. The motion carried.
The minutes of the January board meeting were read by Clerk Neumann. A motion to approve the minutes as presented was made by Supervisor Herro and seconded by Supervisor Miller. The motion carried.
Under Zoning, it was noted that no meeting had been held in January.
Treasurer Zastrow presented the Treasurer’s Report. General Fund: 1,495.91 Equipment Fund: 2,525.50 Reserve Fund: 129,013.68. A motion to approve the report was made by Chairman Mueller and seconded by Supervisor Herro. The motion carried.
The Board reviewed the list of bills presented for payment by Clerk Neumann. A motion to approve payment of the bills was made by Chairman Mueller and seconded by Supervisor Miller. The motion carried.
In Old Business, the Board discussed properties currently in violation of Town of Concord Ordinance 9.09. No formal action was taken. The letter drafted by Stafford Rosenbaum was presented by Supervisor Miller. The Board then reviewed the Western Lakes Fire District contract formal-language updates. A motion by Chairman Mueller to table the item until the March meeting was seconded by Supervisor Herro, and the motion carried.
In New Business, the Board reviewed the incorrect property tax assessment and billing issue concerning Dan and Kati Wetzel. A motion by Chairman Mueller to approve correcting their assessment to reflect the value without improvements was seconded by Supervisor Miller. The motion carried.
The Board then discussed usage of the Dahnert Park ball diamond.
With no further business, a motion to adjourn was made by Chairman Mueller and seconded by Supervisor Miller. The meeting adjourned. The next Town Board meeting is scheduled for March 9. Clerk Neumann also noted that the Spring Primary will be held on February 17.
