My name is Erick Frommgen. I am a lifetime resident of concord. I currently own and operate Concord Inn with my wife Lori. We have owned the bar for 36 years. I am currently the president of Jefferson County Tavern League. Throughout the years we have been involved in the community by sponsoring different leagues, fire and ambulance fundraisers and other civic organizations. One of the reasons that I decided to run for chairman is that being self employed I can afford to be able to attend meetings during the day or night and be available to the residents at any time as needed. Some of my concerns with town issues are terrestrial rights from a city or a village. They are defined as a 3 mile radius as the crow fly's. One problem that I have with this is that the city of oconomowoc can impose these rights in concord although they are in waukesha and we are in jefferson county. I want to see why it can go into other counties. I am also concerned about the potential development of a 3,000 acre solar farm. I believe that this has a potential big impact on concord and surrounding communities. I am not against it but I don't think that we should be giving up all this prime Ag land. Also I think that certain ordinances should be set forth so that we as a town can have some type of control. I also think that we have to set some longer term fire and ambulance contracts so that our homeowners insurance can be adjusted and better priced. In closing, I hope to have your support and that you will vote for me on Tuesday April 6th.
